If you require urgent medical assistance which cannot wait until the surgery re-opens, please hang up and call 1-1-1. Calls to the NHS 111 service are free from both landlines and mobiles. The trained medical staff on this helpline can advise as to whether you should seek immediate medical attention or whether you can treat yourself from home until such time as the surgery re-opens. The service can do a number of things, from providing self-care advice, to sending an ambulance if they deem it necessary. For more information on the NHS 111 service, you can visit the NHS site to find out more.
Or alternatively if you are calling from outside of the area where the NHS 111 service is available but are registered with a GP practice that is within the 111 area or are calling on behalf of someone within the 111 area, you should hang up and call 01962 718697. Please note that calls to this number are charged for.
